My journey to creating this unique practice began with my own health crisis—a devastating back injury in my twenties that hospitalised me for over three months at the very start of my career as an opera singer. There were moments when I feared my career—and even my active life—might be over.
Through my rehabilitation process, I discovered firsthand how powerful an integrated approach to recovery could be. The experience taught me that movement, nutrition, and proper therapeutic techniques work together as medicine for both body and mind. This personal journey inspired me to develop the specialised skills needed to provide others with the comprehensive care I wished I'd had.
Despite that significant setback, I went on to travel the globe, performing in many the world’s great opera houses while maintaining an active lifestyle that includes running, weight lifting, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. This personal experience gives me a unique perspective as both clinician and former patient—I truly understand the physical and emotional impact of injury and illness.
Today, my mission is to empower others to take control of their health by providing all the tools needed for complete recovery in one place. I look at the whole picture of your wellness: how pain affects your daily activities, your mental health, and the activities that bring you joy.
As I often tell my patients with a smile, "As much as I like you, I hope to never see you again!" If we do our job right, you'll gain all the skills and strength you need to maintain your own health for years to come.

Life is Movement, and my goal is to keep you moving—pain-free, confident, and without limits - for life!
What’s in a name?
Why ‘Life Is Movement’? There are a few reasons...
I believe we feel most alive when we're doing the things we love—playing with our children, walking hand in hand with a loved one, racing downhill on a bike, dancing at a wedding, or enjoying our favourite sport or activity. What do all these moments have in common? Movement. We are truly alive when we move.
The name is also a nod to the book Life Is Movement by Eugen Sandow and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Written over a century ago, it was ahead of its time—recognising the deep connection between physical and mental health, overall well-being, and the power of movement and exercise to help us become the best version of ourselves. This philosophy is at the heart of my clinic.
Finally, Life Is Movement reflects a personal shift in my own life. After years of traveling the world as an opera singer, I made the decision to step away from that path—to be home with my children and dedicate myself fully to healthcare. This clinic represents that movement, both in my life and in the lives of those I help.
Because in every way, life truly is movement.
What makes this unique
The Complete Package Approach
Unlike traditional physiotherapy that may focus solely on your injury, my practice offers end-to-end care that addresses all factors affecting your recovery. By combining physiotherapy expertise with clinical nutrition knowledge and specialised exercise training, I can offer solutions that tackle problems from multiple angles—often resulting in faster and more sustainable healing.
Multiple Conditions, One Practitioner
Living with both an injury and a chronic condition? You don't need to see multiple specialists. With training across physiotherapy, nutrition, and clinical exercise management, I can safely help you exercise around your injury while still improving your chronic condition—simultaneously addressing both concerns with a coordinated approach.
Root Cause Resolution
I don't just treat where it hurts. Using a whole-body assessment approach, I identify the underlying imbalances or weaknesses causing your pain. Sometimes your knee pain stems from hip weakness, or your back pain originates in poor thoracic mobility. By fixing the root cause, we create lasting solutions rather than temporary relief.
From Recovery to Thriving
My goal extends beyond getting you "back to normal." Through integrated care, we transform your former weaknesses into strengths, equipping you with the physical resilience and knowledge to not only recover but to thrive and pursue your passions without limitation or fear.
